3B Define Communication Strategy
1. Determine guiding principles for communications. What key messages do we want to consistently convey? Who are the target audiences? How will we establish , two-way communication? How will we measure the business outcomes?2. Outline/ summarize the key communication deliverables to be produced in support of the change project3. Define a set of key messages, to be reinforced consistently, about the purpose/value of the change project. What is the theme of your project�s messaging? What key messages need to be to communicated to impacted stakeholders? How might those messages be impacted by competing initiatives?4. Decide what the style and tone of messages will be. How will key messages be communicated, styled, targeted to the audience, and ensured to be consistent? What is out company �voice�; or the Project Leader�s �voice�?5. Consider the type and timing of project messages. When are key messages delivered, and within what sequence to ensure the best team member experience?6. Determine how the effectiveness of communications will be measured. How will the timeliness, clarity, and effectiveness of communications be measured?
